And it officially begins...again- HOCKEY!

Tonight we started hockey season, and I felt a bit like a little kid. I was all excited, I left the house almost an hour early, to get a coffee and be all ready to go...except, I wasn't even the one playing. Gabe did awesome considering the poor kid has been off skates since May. Due to working on the house this summer, there was not much time for free skating. Elijah & Noah start their practices in about two weeks, whoo hoo-bring on the craziness! I love the feeling of hanging with all the other parents at practice, in addition to watching the kids play- it feels like a family. I can't wait for the games, truly watching your kids try to so hard, and do so well is a ton of fun! I also can't wait to get back on the ice, I haven't skated in a few months because of being so busy with house stuff, so I am eager to get out there and tear up some ice very soon!

Other then that not much new...I have been substitute teaching at the highschool recently with special education, and I am really enjoying it. I didn't realize I would like working with high school kids so much- but I do. It is nice to have a change of scenary compared to elementary school.
Hmm...working on renting the house and moving, but more to share as it develops.
Off to watch Dancing with the stars, my only TV vice. I don't have cable but thanks to hulu I can always keep on top of this goofy show-- like I said, a vice I can't seem to kick. A little bit of quiet (sleeping babes), a little bit of wine, and a my laptop-- life is good! ;D
